What to Expect at State of Black LA 2025

An Annual Forum to Spotlight Challenges and Drive Strategic Solutions

Our State of Black LA event coming up on October 16 will incorporate takeaways and helpful hints we gained from review of our first two such forums in 2023 and 2024. Although both previous events have been widely hailed as successes, there’s always room to grow and ways we can improve to make this signature convening of ours even more successful, and a broader call to action. Of course some aspects of SOBLA 2025 will look and feel the same as in years past.

Join us Thursday, October 16th, 8:00 a.m. for the highly informative data presentations, a racial equality progress report and three panel discussions centered on economic stability, health and immigration. A pivotal one-day symposium unlike anything held before. Calling all leaders and changemakers! Your input is needed and this is the convening you cannot afford to miss as we coalecse two communities, for a better Los Angeles.
